अर्जेन्टाइना की राजधानी ब्यूनूस आयर्स मे एक कंपनी महिलाओं को १५.५० डालर ( करीब ७६०/ -) प्रति घंटॆं के हिसाब से एक बेहद कामकाजू पति उपलब्ध करवा रही है , हाँ , अलबत्ता यह कंपनी इस बात की गांरटी लेती है कि यह किराये के पति आपके बेड रूम मे दखलदांजी नही करेगें । कंपनी का दावा है कि यह सुविधा अकेली और  तलाकशुदा महिलाओं के लिये बहुत काम की है ।

Buenos Aires: Any woman can get a husband at an hourly rate in Buenos Aires, thanks to a company offering to do the repairs and installations that every home needs, and all "without problems in the bedroom". Husband for Rent is a successful Argentine company that for 50 pesos ($15.50) an hour will undertake domestic chores for women who don't have a "handyman" around the house, the Spanish news agency EFE reported.

"Tired of your husband leaving you with all the household upkeep? And you, are you tired of your wife nagging at you to do 1,001 repairs? Stop arguing right now," the company says on its Web site.

चीन ने ओलोम्पिक को देखते हुये कुत्तों के माँस पर रेस्ट्रों मे सर्व करने पर पांबदी लगा दी है , यह कदम अतिथियों की भावना को रखते हुये किया गया है , लेकिन बेचारे गधों को इस खेल भावना का कोई लाभ नही मिला ।

Beijing: Eager to spruce up its image ahead of the Beijing Olympics, China has ordered restaurants that cater to athletes, spectators and tourists to clean up their menus and stop serving dog meat.
    But it has spared restaurants from serving other nonconventional meats, like donkey meat, which are equally popular among a section of people in Beijing.
    The ban on serving dog meat is meant just for the duration of the games and has been done to avoid hurting sensibilities of some of the visitors as well as to ensure that animal rights activists do not get an opportunity to hold protest demonstrations, sources said. The official directive said Beijing restaurants should ‘‘respect the dining customs of different countries’’ by stopping the sale of dog meat dishes.
    The order was sent by the Beijing Food Safety Office to hotels and restaurants approved for Olympic guests.
    The order also said that if dog meat is used in traditional medicated diets, which is often the case, it must be clearly labelled.
    Restaurants in Beijing that specialize in cuisine from Yunnan and Guizhou provinces often serve dog meat. It is popular among some sections of Chinese but its use is much less widespread compared with the two Koreas.
    This is not the first time that dog meat dishes have faced Olympics-related bans. It was done during the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, where dog meat is part of the regular diet.

ताबूत में रेस्तरां – क्या ख्याल है डिनर पार्टी का !!

मौत का ख्याल आते ही लोगों की भूख-प्यास उड़ जाती है। लेकिन, यूक्रेन में दुनिया का पहला ऐसा रेस्तरां बनाया गया है, जिसकी थीम मौत पर आधारित है। मजे की बात यह है कि रेस्तरां 65 फीट लंबे ताबूत के भीतर चलता है। इसे दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा ताबूत बताया जा रहा है। इस विशालकाय ताबूत में साज-सज्जा के लिए कई सामान्य आकार के ताबूत और फूल से बने हार इस्तेमाल किए गए हैं। इस रेस्तरां में परोसे जाने वाले व्यंजनों के नाम भी अजीबोगरीब हैं। मसलन, डिनर के मेन्यू में मौत के बाद के संस्कारों पर आधारित नाइन डे और फोर्टी डे सलाद शामिल हैं। इसी तरह एक खास डिश का नाम रखा गया है - लेट्स मीट इन पैराडाइज यानी स्वर्ग में मिलते हैं। इटर्निटी नाम का यह रेस्तरां यूक्रेन के पश्चिम में पुर्तगाल की सीमा के करीब त्रस्कवेत्स कस्बे में स्थित है। इस रेस्तरां के निर्माण से जुड़े आंद्रेई बताते हैं, इसके निर्माण में 30 घन मीटर देवदार की लकड़ी लगी। यह हमारे निदेशक स्टीफन पायरिंक का विचार था। उन्हें उम्मीद है कि इस रेस्तरां के चलते त्रस्कवेत्स में आने वाले पर्यटकों की संख्या बढ़ेगी। अभी यह कस्बा यहां मिलने वाले खनिज तत्वों से भरपूर पानी के लिए मशहूर है। यहां बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटक आते हैं। इस अनोखे रेस्तरां के मालिक को उम्मीद है कि उनके रेस्तरां को दुनिया के सबसे बड़े ताबूत का दर्जा मिल जाएगा। गिनीज व‌र्ल्ड रिका‌र्ड्स का कहना है कि दुनिया के सबसे बड़े ताबूत का तमगा अभी किसी को नहीं दिया गया है। संस्था के अधिकारियों को इसके लिए यूक्रेन से बाकायदा आवेदन किए जाने का इंतजार है। यानी अगर रेस्तरां मालिकों की ख्वाहिश पूरी हुई तो सबसे बड़े ताबूत का तमगा पाने का भी रिकार्ड बनेगा।
